Brain Surge

Brain Surge is an offline, single-player trivia and quiz game. FunMindo does not intentionally collect personal information directly from users. We do not operate any backend server or database, and do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.

✅ FunMindo does not intentionally collect personal information directly from users. All game data is stored locally on your device. The only external data handling is through Google AdMob, which operates under its own separate privacy policy.

• To save your game progress, scores, coins, and preferences locally on your device
• To deliver advertisements through Google AdMob and keep the game free to play
• To measure ad performance and manage ad frequency (handled entirely by AdMob)
• To comply with applicable Indian law

FunMindo does not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with any third party for marketing purposes. We do not use your data for profiling or tracking outside of what is described in this policy.

Brain Surge stores all game data exclusively on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to FunMindo or any third party.

• What is stored locally: quiz scores, coin balance, daily challenge completion, lifeline availability, category progress, and sound settings
• When is it deleted: automatically when you clear app data in your device settings, or when you uninstall the Game
• Can FunMindo access it: No — FunMindo operates no server or backend and has no mechanism to receive or view data stored on your device

Brain Surge is free to play and supported by advertisements delivered by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's resettable Advertising ID to serve relevant ads. Brain Surge uses interstitial and rewarded video ad formats.

You can opt out of personalised ads at any time:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalisation"
• Reset Advertising ID: Settings → Google → Ads → "Reset advertising ID"

Opting out means you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised. Game functionality is not affected.

In accordance with Google Play's Data Safety requirements, Brain Surge uses Google AdMob, which may collect the following types of data for advertising and analytics purposes:

• Device or other identifiers — such as the Android Advertising ID, used to serve and measure ads
• App interactions — including information about how ads are viewed and interacted with
• Diagnostics — crash logs and performance data that may be collected by AdMob or Google Play Services

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by FunMindo, and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy

FunMindo does not collect, share, or sell any data for advertising purposes independently. All ad-related data collection is handled entirely by Google AdMob.

When completing the Google Play Console Data Safety form, data collection and sharing should be declared under Google AdMob's SDK data practices, as FunMindo itself does not collect user data directly.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), FunMindo processes data on the following bases:

• Consent — By downloading and playing Brain Surge, you consent to Google AdMob collecting device identifiers and Advertising IDs for ad delivery. You may withdraw this at any time by uninstalling the Game or opting out of personalised ads in device settings (see Section 4).
• Legitimate use — Local storage of game progress on your own device is a legitimate operational necessity for the Game to function.
• Legal obligation — We may retain information as required by the IT Act, 2000 and DPDPA 2023.

Brain Surge is rated Everyone (3+) on Google Play due to its mild, non-violent trivia content. However, Brain Surge is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children and is not part of the Google Play Families program.

• FunMindo does not intentionally collect personal information from any user
• The Game requires no account creation, no login, and no registration of any kind
• All game data is stored locally on the player's own device
• Brain Surge targets users aged 13 and above; ads are served for a general audience in accordance with Google AdMob's standard policies, and are not configured as child-directed

As ads are served by Google AdMob, FunMindo cannot guarantee the content of every individual advertisement served.

• Device data — stored locally on your device; deleted when you clear app data in your device settings or uninstall the Game
• No FunMindo backend — FunMindo does not operate servers or databases; we do not intentionally collect or have access to your personal data
• AdMob data — managed by Google under their own retention policies; manageable via your Google account settings

Brain Surge stores all game data locally on your device and does not transmit it to any FunMindo server. The security of locally stored game data depends on the security of your own device.

The only external data handling occurs through Google AdMob and Google Play Services, both of which maintain their own industry-standard security practices. FunMindo does not intentionally collect personal information and therefore takes reasonable steps to minimise any data exposure through its third-party integrations.

Under applicable Indian law (DPDPA 2023 and IT Act, 2000), you have the right to:

• Access — Request information about any data we hold (note: FunMindo holds no personal data directly)
• Deletion of local data — Clear your device data at any time by clearing app data in device settings, or by uninstalling the Game (see Section 8 for full details)
• Data deletion request — Since FunMindo holds no personal data on its servers, no formal deletion request is required. For AdMob data, use Android Settings → Google → Ads → Delete Advertising ID
• Opt-out of personalised ads — Via Android Settings → Google → Ads (see Section 4)
• Withdraw consent — Uninstall the Game to stop all data collection

FunMindo is based in India and does not transfer your data internationally. However, Google AdMob may process information on servers located outside India, including in the United States and other countries. Such processing is governed by Google's privacy and security standards, which include appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of Brain Surge after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through an in-game notice or via the Google Play Store update description.

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Grievance Officer details are provided below:

We take all grievances seriously. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it becomes fully operational.

FunMindo is based in India. This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). Any disputes arising out of this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
